Ben is based in Crawford. Ten communities, and the water is genuinely different across them, from Lake Waco surface water to Trinity Aquifer wells to private wells with no published report at all.
Waco is entirely surface water from Lake Waco. Woodway runs six city wells in the Hosston Member of the Trinity Group Aquifer plus purchased treated surface water. Hewitt, Bellmead and McGregor are primarily groundwater. Robinson buys treated Waco water while holding its own groundwater and Brazos River rights, and Lorena takes its base supply from Robinson rather than from Waco. West buys its base supply from the City of Waco.
